Pride Legend Mobility Scooter

Older model, I think it's a Legend 2000. I got this for myself but my wife thinks it's too old, big, heavy, and ugly. This takes 2 of the the big UT-1 batteries. A set will cost at least $120. I put some other batteries I had in and noted the following: The motor and controller are OK. I was able to zip up and down the street about 10 mph. Turn signals are flaky. I think it's just dirty contacts in the buttons. I couldn't get the charger to work. I was going to order a plug-in charger off Amazon and rewire the scooter for it. The Pride charger is insanely expensive and they want you to have it fixed at an authorized dealer. Comes with no batteries. The ones that were in it were worthless. I need this gone ASAP.
