Maytag washing machine - 15 years old - good motor - need to replace agitator

This Maytag washing machine was in home use until the agitator came loose. Upon inspection, the plastic ridges inside the agitator that should grip the shaft were sheared off and the inside of the agitator was completely smooth. Prior to this we had no complaints. The motor runs well. We didn't want to spend time attempting to fix the machine, so we purchased a newer replacement. Model # LAT9420AAE Serial # 10213863YB
