Works if: you plug the digital converter box (included) into your antenna or cable, the VCR into the converter box, and the TV into the VCR. VCR serves as the TV's tuner, and only records and plays back on Super Long Play with recordable VHS tapes. CANNOT PLAY PURCHASED MOVIES.
